After leaving public service, I recognised that resilience grows more complex each day, and that intelligence plays an ever-greater role in sustaining it. At Birdwatcher Group, we generate the power to respond to those challenges with clarity and purpose.
The goal is to strengthen resilience through intelligence to uncover risks, expose manipulation, and protect the integrity of democratic institutions and corporations. My work concentrates on building strategy and partnerships that connect leading expertise in intelligence, security, and resilience, forming a global network equipped to confront hybrid threats with precision and purpose.

After a public intelligence career that took me across the world, it was in Ukraine, just before the war, that I truly saw the power of effective training.
I realised that private, mission-driven institutions can often strengthen intelligence structures more effectively than government systems alone; faster, more targeted, and with lasting impact. At Birdwatcher Group, I lead our Security Sector Reform and Capacity-Building division, dedicated to helping democratic governments and organisations develop the resilient intelligence and security capabilities needed to withstand today’s authoritarian threats.
